Sound familiar?

😩 Your trip info is scattered across Google Docs, texts, email, and a shared spreadsheet nobody updates
😤 "Who's bringing the stove?" — asked for the third time, two days before the trip
🤦 Someone changed the route but only told half the group
💸 "You owe me $47.23" conversations that drag on for weeks after the trip
📵 No cell service at the trailhead and your planning docs won't load

One app. Everything synced.

All the tools your crew needs, none of the chaos.

Built by a backpacker, for backpackers

Hey, I'm Matt. I built TrailSync because I was tired of the planning chaos every time I organized a group backpacking trip in Oregon. Spreadsheets for gear, group texts for logistics, a separate app for routes, Venmo requests flying around for weeks — it was a mess.

TrailSync puts everything in one place. I've been building it as a solo developer, testing it with real hikers on real trails. It's not backed by a big company — it's built by someone who actually carries a pack.

The beta is free and I'm actively looking for feedback from people who plan group trips. If that's you, I'd love to have you try it.

Quick questions

Is it really free?

Yes — the beta is completely free. We'll introduce optional premium features later, but core trip planning will always be free.

What platforms does it work on?

iOS (via TestFlight) and Android (via Google Play). You'll get the right link after signing up.

Does it work without cell service?

Yes. TrailSync is built for the backcountry — cached maps, weather, and everything you need for your trip stays accessible without a connection.

How is this different from AllTrails?

AllTrails is great for finding trails. TrailSync is for coordinating the people going on them — gear assignments, meal planning, budget splitting, and keeping your whole crew on the same page.

Can I give feedback?

Please do — that's the whole point of the beta. You'll be shaping the product directly.

Your crew's next trip deserves better than a spreadsheet.
